Andy’s experience following his father’s death combined with his own experience as a business owner give him a unique perspective on business owners’ needs. In 1985, he co-founded American Toxxic Control, (later known as U.S. Filter Corp., NYSE: USF), which grew through acquisitions to become a worldwide operating company with more than $4 billion in revenues. In 1990, he became president of Viking Water Systems, a designer and fabricator of water treatment and bottling equipment with plants in Latin America, Asia, China, Europe, Canada and the United States. While at Viking, he founded Cove Water, a water bottling operation. In 1996, U.S. Filter acquired both Viking and Cove Water.

Andy’s experience in the financial services field include being a partner in Creative Business Strategies, a private-equity investment banking firm, and overseeing investment banking and business development for Direct Stock Market, an online investment bank. Prior to joining EHG Financial Planning Services, Andy was a financial advisor at Sagemark Consulting of Newport Beach, servicing the estate and financial planning needs of high net worth clients.

Andy holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Southern California Business School along with the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses and a California insurance license. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Financial and Estate Planning. He is a registered representative with Securities America Inc. and an Investment Advisor Representative with Cooper Financial Group.

Andy and his wife, Johanna, an artist, have two children, Eric, 19, and Paige, 16. Andy spends his free time kiteboarding, surfing, golfing (ocean and grass) and volunteering for the Mariners Church music ministry.
